Kaiya (Owner: Kelly Wheeler hd: 03/23/02)-I had already decided on getting a Meyer's Parrot and had located a reputable breeder in Mercer Island, WA. At 7 weeks old we took a trip over the mountains to meet the 2 baby Meyer's. It didn't take long for Kaiya to let us know that SHE was the one. She is such a sweetheart and mama's little girl. She has so much yellow for a Meyer's that even her breeder is in awe of her beauty.

Kaycee (Owner: Spencer and Kelly Wheeler approx. 7 yrs old)-Kaycee was an abandoned cockatiel who's owner decided they didn't want him anymore, he was just too loud and their lifestyle was changing. I was asked at the Bird Club meeting if I would be interested in him. I didn't hesitate a second. He's taken some time to adjust to his forever home, but he's getting there and he's taught the other feathered kids how to say "pretty bird"

Skye (Owner: Spencer and Kelly Wheeler hd: Spring 2003)-Poor little Skye was destined for a rough life. We found him at a local pet store and noticed that his feet were deformed and he couldn't perch on anything. He had the sweetest personality and we just couldn't leave him there, he needed Special love and care. We rescued the little guy right then and there. At the vet a week later he weighed a dismal 37g (after eating 24 hrs a day for a week), was very malnourished and weak. Today he is still a small cockatiel, but he is VERY happy and healthy and with some special platforms and perches he gets around just fine.

Sydney (Owner: Spencer Wheeler hd:12/01)- Sydney was our very 1st bird, but we quickly learned that he was our first "feathered child".  He was such a joy to have around that within a few months we had decided on second bird to join our new "flock"
