New Birdie Bread Recipe
1 1/2 cups of cooked squash with seeds
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 peanut oil
3 eggs with shells
2 chopped red peppers
1 cup of broccoli
1 shredded carrot
6 crushed up different colored TUMS for the calcium
Put the above in a mixer or food processor, blend well.
Then add enough corn meal and oatmeal to make it really thick.
Drop by spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Freeze what you don't use.
BIRDIE FRUITY ICEE
several types of fresh fruits, any combination, diced into pieces.
Puree fruits in blender or food processor until smooth and mixed.
Pour into ice cube trays, and freeze until solid.
Keep frozen, stored in freezer containers or plastic bags.
To serve, remove 1-2 cubes per bird, thaw slightly.
Some of my birds actually seem to prefer the frozen fruit, especially in
summer!
